Impact BBDO wins a Gold and Silver at the GEMAS Effie MENA Awards 2011 for Cheyef Halak and Cornelli Jay-Jay Campaigns

It has been another successful year for Impact BBDO as the group took home 2 awards – a Gold and a Silver – at the GEMAS Effie MENA Awards. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held in Dubai on Thursday November 24th, where a total of 7 Gold Effies were awarded across 13 categories.

 

Along with the two winning campaigns from the Beirut office, Impact BBDO had 13 finalists across its MENA network. Impact BBDO Beirut was awarded a Gold for their ‘Cheyef Halak’ Campaign in the ‘Best Use of CSR’ Category and a Silver
for Cornelli’s ‘It’s About Time’ Campaign in the ‘Best New Product Launch’ Category.

 

“There is no doubt that effectiveness is one of BBDO’s global priorities, and the Middle East is no exception. What better way to prove this than by winning awards that celebrate the most effective work in the region”, said Dani Richa, Chairman and CEO of Impact BDDO Group MENA.
