In appreciation of their efforts over the past year, Alfa, the first Lebanese mobile operator managed by Orascom Telecom since February 2009, honored its network of distributors and point of sales (POS) from all over Lebanon in a Gala dinner held in Habtoor Grand Hotel, Sin El Fil where singer, Moein Sherif performed.

The ceremony was attended by Alfa Chairman & CEO, Eng. Marwan Hayek, who commended the performance and efforts of the distributors and points of sales over the past three years since Orascom Telecom took over the management of Alfa, which confirms that they are part of the company’s success and growth. “Those efforts reflected positively on the company’s sales, and contributed to the expansion of Alfa’s outreach with the number of points of sales increasing by 40% to 1,750 (POSs) spreading over the entire Lebanese territory,” Hayek added.

Hayek also announced that the sales incentive programs will continue to be part of the company’s strategy in order to motivate the points of sales to achieve high sale targets in 2012, which will see the launching of several services and projects.

The ceremony marks the continuation of an annual tradition aiming at strengthening Alfa’s mutual cooperation and business ties with its network of distributors and POS, which eventually results in serving the customer in the best possible way.
