New Balance is proud to have sponsored ten young athletes and local celebrity figures at this year’s Beirut Marathon, which took place on November 27 and proved to be an astounding success with over 31,156 runners participating in several race categories.

New Balance provided the running shoes and sportswear for these young athletes that are being groomed for the 2014 Olympics.

New Balance provided running shoes and sportswear for other notable personalities, including well-known Lebanese comedian Nemer Abou Nassar, radio presenter Tanguy, and renowned Lebanese journalist Elga Trad, who won third place in the female category. The entire team of organizers for the Beirut Marathon, including May Khalil, were also dressed by New Balance.

Boston-based New Balance is the only athletic shoe manufacturer to still make shoes in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is also the only manufacturer to make the majority of its shoes in a range of widths, so that people with very narrow or very wide feet can easily find a comfortable fitting pair of shoes.

This premiere athletic shoe and sportswear brand, including the children’s line, is available at all Aïzone stores and retailers throughout the country.
