Additional workshops on a number of art-related topics, digital and animation styles, coupled with live demonstrations by artists on the process of creating compelling art pieces through inspired imagination, will be on offer during the remainder of the fair.

German fine artist and picture book illustrator Patricia Thoma will present her own work on Sunday 30 April, while Egyptian Sahar Abdallar delves into the art of creating illustrations for children’s books using paper, textiles and acrylic colours on Monday May 1.

The Illustrator’s Corner also encourages the fair’s young visitors to nurture their expressive talents, creative abilities, and an interest in participating in the variety of contemporary art styles that continue to evolve across the world.

The region’s fastest-growing book fair, ADIBF 2017 has gained acclaim for bringing together leading international authors, publishers, artists and exhibitors from across the world in a vibrant celebration of the region’s literary landscape.
