The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA) is back with a jam-packed calendar of incredible sports events and activities, as girls and young ladies of the capital get another chance to experience the newly opened Abu Dhabi Ladies Club (ADLC) through an active and engaging programme.

From 5th to 16th August, females aged 5-15 years old are invited to take part in a host of sports, including gymnastics, mixed martial arts, swimming and more, all of which will take place in the pristine facility of ADLC. Returning and first-time participants can engage in a number of team sports including football, volleyball and basketball. And if that wasn’t enough, track and field events will be readily available for those looking to lace up their training shoes!

Over the 11-day scheduling of events, dance classes, movie watching, and even those wishing to get creative with arts and crafts, can express themselves this August. Popular special workshops and a series of Master Classes will continue to be made available to the young ladies of the capital. These Master Classes will give the girls a unique experience of learning from exceptional local talent, including football and basketball professionals.

Speaking about the Summer Camp Part II, Fatima Al Ali from FBMA said: “It’s not only a pleasure to be offering another programme of sports and activities to young ladies in the capital, but it’s encouraging to see the success of the first month activities and amount of girls who signed up.

“By offering an extended Summer Camp, we believe we are striving towards our mission of providing state-of-the-art facilities and services that cater to women’s social, health and fitness needs and inspire them to be part of an active, happy community. We look forward to seeing new faces, as well as welcome back, the younger community of ladies this August,” added Fatima Al Ali.

Throughout the Summer Camp, girls will remain in the set into three age categories: 5-6 years; 7-10 years; and 11-15 years old. Each day, events will take place from 9am-2pm, with registration to be complete through ADLC. Registration is 1,450 AED per child, with a second sister receiving a 10% discount.
