The Congress provides an international platform to highlight ‘Smart Dubai,’ an ambitious initiative to transform Dubai into the world’s smartest and happiest city. Bu Osaiba will join a panel discussion organised by Nokia to discuss the increasing importance of mobile broadband data applications for public safety and security and the importance of Nedaa 4G network for mission-critical that aims to create safe and smart city for residents and visitors.  Nedaa will also share its own efforts to further advance the telecommunications agenda under Dubai Plan 2021 to event participants while gaining valuable insights on critical areas ranging from mobile security and operational efficiency to the ongoing transition from legacy LTE networks to 5G wireless systems.

Commenting on their participation at the Mobile World Congress, Saeed Bin Abid said: “The 2017 Mobile World Congress is an excellent platform for Nedaa to interact with industry peers, leading experts and thought leaders from around the world from whom we can learn much about how to create tomorrow’s professional communications networks. It also enables us to compare our ongoing work in key technology areas such as LTE and IoT with those being done by providers worldwide and set higher standards across our operations and services. We will get the rare opportunity to share Nedaa’s vision for ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety and efficiency across Dubai’s telecommunications landscape with the world.”
