NIKE INTRODUCES FALL SPORTSWEAR SNEAKER COLLECTION

In a display of style, fashion, and innovation; Nike introduces its new Fall 2017 Sportswear Sneaker collection and it’s all about embracing the colour of the season; white. The campaign shot by celebrity fashion photographers Mert Ala? and Marcus Piggott and styled by Gadir Rajab, features leading Football player Omar Abdulrahman (Amoory) in the latest Cortez, Air Force1, and Airmax 90.

 

The 2017 Fall Sportswear Collection launched August 07 and is available across selected Nike stores in the UAE.

Commenting on the new collection, Amoory said: “I love the variety of this seasons all-white collection by Nike. Wearing white makes any outfit look fresh and effortless. I love wearing my all-white Nike Air Force 1’s, it’s the perfect look and feel for the summer months.”

 

Gadir Rajab, photographer, stylist and editor of fashion and culture title, Oyster Magazine who also styled the shoot said: “White is such a timeless colour for summer. It’s clean, cool and classic. From the courts of Wimbledon to runways or street style, a crisp white shirt, or fresh linen trousers with a white classic sneaker, especially the Air Max 97, is my go-to look and my inspiration for summer styling.”

Nike Cortez

Transcending from the running track to pop culture, the Nike Cortez officially released in 1972, is marking its 45th birthday this year. Retail price starting at AED 469.

Nike Air Force 1

Nike Air Force 1’s had great influence on the intertwining connection between hoops and culture. In 1982, it landed on the hardwood to introduce Nike Air technology to the sport of basketball. From court to culture, this iconic basketball shoe would forever change the sneaker world. Retail price starting at AED 499.

HUARACHE

Designed in 1991 by Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Huarache silhouette is built on the design philosophy of “less is more.” The Huarache focuses on comfort, flexibility and fit, resulting in a lighter shoe that hugs the foot. Retail price starting at AED 599.

AIR MAX 1

1987 marked the release of the Air Max 1 and with it, a revolution began. In the form of a literal window to the sole, the invisible became visible and Nike Air cushioning forever changed how Nike designed running sneakers. Retail price starting at AED 699.
