Panasonic Brings Next Generation Innovative Solutions to GITEX 2017

Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF) is showcasing its innovative solutions at GITEX Technology Week 2017, region’s most influential ICT exhibition, which runs from 8th – 12th October at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Panasonic, a renowned name amongst the Global Technology giants, offers high quality B2B solutions embedded with industry-leading, innovative, Japanese standard technologies. Optimizing GITEX as a rewarding opportunity to reach out to its patrons, the brand is showcasing this year a range of futuristic projection mapping solutions which are set to boost the region’s most dynamically growing industry sectors – Retail, Hospitality, Leisure & Entertainment.

Recently Panasonic’s projection technology was utilized at Dubai Festival City for the multimedia show streaming global attraction – IMAGINE. Panasonic’s more than 70 high-end projectors were deployed at the world’s largest Aqua screen projection. Panasonic’s innovative solutions have been associated with world events like Olympics for decades, epitomizing cutting edge technology and premium experience that the brand brings with it. Launched in December 2016, IMAGINE has already secured two Guinness World Records for the ‘World’s Largest Water Screen Projection and ‘World’s Largest Permanent Projection Mapping’.

Mr. Yasuo Yamasaki – Director, System Solutions & Communications Division, PMMAF, commented – “The Middle East region is known for its spectacular events, and Panasonic’s innovative solutions have already carved a niche for transforming events into exciting experiences.  Our projection mapping solution is the demonstration of our commitment to the Middle Eastern consumers who are constantly in search of advanced technologies. The incredible stadium mapping, dome mapping projectors and lenses add a new dimension to any event, big or small, by helping to captivate audience’s imagination.”

Redefining the way people visualise mega events, Panasonic introduces the below Innovative Solutions:

Stadium Mapping

One of the key highlights of the show is the Stadium Mapping miniature that is created based on the “Osaka Derby Projection Night” conducted earlier this year in Japan’s Suita Football stadium produced and directed by Panasonic. Panasonic’s latest line-up of PT-RZ970 projector utilized to create this solution unleashes the true power of imagination with 20,000-hour maintenance free endurance, and a SOLID SHINE laser with DLP projection balancing image quality. Engineered for a marathon performance, the PT-RZ970 is designed to fit into both temporary or permanent installation with immersive picture quality and practical features. It has a free 360-degree rotation with powerful brightness and lasting reliability. This product assures a convenient installation flexibility that gives a consistent and stable performance to deliver high quality.

Dome Mapping with the innovative fisheye lens

Harnessing the next generation imaging technology, Panasonic’s Dome Mapping Solution, delivers an absolute immersive experience in temporary/permanent installations in single/multi-projection layouts. The new technology creates realistic image projections that can be adopted in different businesses and retail settings. Panasonic latest introduced fisheye lens combined with a 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser projector will amaze visitors this year at GITEX.

The high-resolution fisheye lens that delivers an immersive projection experience. This lens is the latest technological innovation by Panasonic that can be used in Dome Theatres, Planetariums, Theme Parks and Events. Allowing up to 183° of angle view, the lens supports high resolution 4K+ projection, wide lens shift for flexibility and surrounding focus correction when projecting from short distances. It is compatible with Panasonic 3-Chip DLP™ Projectors*

(Supports PT-D7500 3-Chip DLP™ projector and later models)

The showcased Dome Mapping solution uses Panasonic’s latest 4K+ PT-RQ32K projector that allows resellers and staging professionals to upgrade their service quality while being cost-effective. Panasonic has ‘re-imagined’ 4k projection with 3-Chip DLP™ SOLID SHINE Laser flagship, maintaining image consistency for long with huge output power and less maintenance. The brand has created a live demo of dome-shaped projection to showcase this next generation imaging technology and demonstrate the fast and simple multi-mapping installation.
