The Chair of the Rotary Presidential Conference Media Committee Mrs. Bana Kalash Kobrosly provided an explanation about Rotary’s most important actions and services around the world and especially in Lebanon, drawing special attention to Rotary’s project aiming to provide water filtration systems in public schools in Lebanon. Mrs. Kobrosly also asserted that “Rotary will continue to carry out its humanitarian, social and health-related projects through our 27 clubs spread all over the Lebanese territory”.

The Presidential Conference will host the former General Secretary of the Arab League Dr. Amer Moussa, the Rotary International President Mr. Ian Riseley, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rotary Foundation Mr. Paul Netzel, many Rotary governors, Presidents of the Rotary clubs, and the Heads and Members of the conference’s organizing committees. Participation has been registered from all across the world, including a number of high-level figures and experts who will share their thoughts and expertise about the importance of water and its influence on civil and world peace, and the water problems in Lebanon and the region and its effects on the economy.

Many rotarians, journalists and reporters did not miss the opportunity to join this conference, given its high significance for Lebanon and the world as it sheds the light on Rotary’s effective initiative focused on water, hygiene, and peace.
